A staff of eleven maintain the technology infrastructure of the Bristol Tennessee City Schools. Services include the repair and maintenance of existing instructional and administrative computer systems throughout the district, instructional and administrative software support, student information management administration, training, implementation of wired and wireless networked services, as well as telecommunications and video surveillance equipment. BTCS has two resilient 750 megabit fiber connections lines as well as a 10Gig WAN AGG fiber connection. This bandwidth is shared among the almost 4000 computers currently installed throughout the district, which are primarily made up of Windows platform devices. The purpose of technology support is to provide services that aid in engaging, challenging, and inspiring students, while satisfying our customers in a way that creates trust. Questions about using BTCS technology should first be directed to the technology help desk line at 423-652-9430. Make sure to leave a message including name and call back number as well as a brief description of the question / issue.
