The physical, social, and emotional health of students can support or hinder their academic success and their prospects for a productive and healthy life. State and national data reveal that many Tennessee students are impacted by numerous factors which negatively affect both their health and academic success. Bristol Tennessee City Schools and the State of Tennessee are committed to partnering with students, parents, and the entire school community to improve students' well-being and readiness to learn. The CSH model ensures that schools effectively link health with educational success. Although the eight components are listed separately, it is their composite that allows CSH to have a significant impact.

School Climate Surveys

Bristol Tennessee City School is participating in the Tennessee School Climate Survey. The survey is sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) as part of a larger initiative to enhance school support for students, increase school safety, and provide a positive learning environment.  The survey is geared for students in grades 3-12, parents and teachers.

Parents may preview the student survey by clicking the appropriate grade level link below. Permission must be granted for the student to participate in the survey. Schools will administer surveys from May 13 - May 21.

Elementary Student Survey for Grades 3-5 (15 minutes)

Middle School Survey for Grades 6-8 (20 minutes)

High School Survey for Grades 9-12 (20 minutes)

Parent and Teacher Surveys will be sent out by the principal at each school.
Parent/Guardian Survey - 15 minutes
Teacher Survey - 20 minutes
